Manuka Honey Babe Skincare Range

Parrs Honey Babe skin care is a range of quality products created for the care of baby's tender skin. The range includes Moisture Cream, Barrier Cream, Massage Oil, Shampoo & Wash and Soap. We realise how delicate a baby's skin is and so have developed these products to ensure they are both safe and gentle to use. All our products contain Manuka Honey which is unique to New Zealand. It is acclaimed for its natural antiseptic, moisturising and healing properties making it the ideal ingredient for baby care. Pure and natural plant extracts, specifically chosen to safely protect and pamper baby's skin, have also been added to enhance our Honey Babe range.

All products in the range are 100% New Zealand made and are free from parabens, lanolin and mineral oil.

Parabens are commonly used preservatives found in cosmetic, pharmaceutical and industrial products and some food. It prevents the growth of yeast, moulds and bacteria and preserves the shelf life of a range of everyday products including skin moisturisers, shampoos, soaps, toothpastes and make-up. There are concerns that parabens ca cause cancer however there are no proven studies to support this claim.

Experts advise that while Lanolin is an extremely moisturising ingredient in many cosmetics, it is not recommended for use on children unless the company can guarantee it is pesticide free. This is because new born skin is relatively more permeable to topically applied agents than adult skin. In surveys done by the Environmental Protection Agency, much of the commercial Lanolin used in baby products was found to contain relatively high concentrations of pesticides which are readily absorbed through the baby;s skin.

Finally, Mineral Oil is commonly used, but can be quite drying on the skin which is the reason we have not included this in our Honey Babe products.

	Honey Babe Massage Oil 90ml bottle Contains the soft fragrance of manuka honey in a blend of naturally soothing and moisturising sweet almond and calendula oils to condition baby’s skin during massage. Helps calm a restless baby. Also ideal for use as a relaxing massage oil for a tired mother.
	Honey Babe Moisture Creme 80ml tube Also contains Aloe Vera and sweet almond oil in a smooth and creamy lotion to naturally soothe, soften and moisturise. Protects baby’s delicate skin from the harsh external elements.
	Honey Babe Shampoo & Wash 100ml bottle Also containing sweet orange oil, this shampoo & wash provides gentle moisturising and natural antibacterial cleansing. Produces a softly scented lather to keep baby’s skin and hair beautifully soft and clean.
	Honey Babe Soap 95gm bar Enriched with vitamin E and calendula oil to nurture and soothe baby’s tender skin. Naturally softly scented, it gently cleanses and leaves baby’s skin fresh and clean.
